Indeed the last pair are still wearable but getting a little bit tattie,but after six years its not bad going .So in the long run they are excellant value as well

This is the second pair of boots Ive had and the first pair I purchased in 1999 and Ive just worn the sole out now and I wear the boots every day of the week ,My new pair have replaced the old and they are perfect.

I contacted customer services in USA who kindly arranged for me to return the boots to Netherlands for refund.
